Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Senior Sales Engineer to lead strategic sales
activities within the construction and MEP sector. The ideal candidate will have a
strong network among Builders, Contractors, and MEP Consultants, with proven
experience in driving project-based sales, providing technical solutions, and
achieving revenue targets. This role includes both key account management and
business development responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities with builders,
contractors, and MEP consultants.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share and achieve
sales targets.
• Handle high-value projects, tendering, and strategic accounts.
• Prepare and negotiate proposals, quotations, and contract terms.
2. Key Account Management
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with major developers, contractors,
and consulting firms.
• Conduct regular client meetings, site visits, and presentations to ensure
customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Provide end-to-end support on large-scale and complex project requirements.
3. Technical Expertise
• Understand project specifications, drawings, BOQs, and MEP system
requirements (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, or relevant domain).
• Recommend suitable products/solutions based on technical and commercial
requirements.
• Coordinate with the engineering/technical team for solution design and
compliance.
4. Project & Market Monitoring
• Track ongoing and upcoming projects through field visits, consultant
interactions, and market intelligence tools.
• Analyze competitor activities, pricing strategies, and product offerings.
• Provide management with market insights and recommendations.
5. Internal Coordination
• Work closely with design, estimation, logistics, and finance teams for
seamless order execution.
• Support the sales team with technical training, mentoring, and guidance as
needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5 years of experience in sales within the construction/MEP domain.
• Strong network and proven track record of selling to Builders, Contractors,
and MEP Consultants.
• Experience in project sales, specification selling, and solution-based selling.
Skills Required:
• Strong technical understanding of MEP systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and high-value accounts simultaneously.
• Leadership capability and mentoring experience is a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
• Valid driving license (if applicable).
