Roles & Responsibilities – Structural Site Engineer

• Supervise erection and launching of RDSO-approved steel girders

• Manage heavy steel fabrication work as per IRC, IS, and RDSO standards

• Interpret technical drawings and execute work at site

• Coordinate with contractors, fabrication yards, and railway authorities

• Ensure timely completion of fabrication and erection activities

• Perform quality inspection for welding, fabrication, and fit-up work

• Prepare ITP (Inspection Test Plan) and QAP (Quality Assurance Plan)

• Maintain inspection, approval, and project documentation

• Prepare BBS, BOQ, and steel fabrication cost estimates

• Supervise bridge works involving PSC and steel girders

• Handle heavy equipment such as cranes, launchers, and winches

• Plan railway block activities and obtain necessary approvals

• Monitor fabrication yard operations, manpower, and schedules

• Ensure welding and assembly activities meet RDSO and QC norms

• Conduct audits and support ISO/documentation compliance

• Provide technical support to project, procurement, and site teams

• Monitor site safety, work progress, and quality standards

• Coordinate daily site execution and reporting activities
