Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for spare parts to achieve revenue targets. Identify new market opportunities and expand dealer/distributor networks. Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the team.
2. Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate the spares sales team across regions. Conduct regular training and performance reviews. Assign territories and monitor daily/weekly sales activities.
3. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, dealers, and OEM clients. Resolve escalated customer issues and complaints promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination: Coordinate with the warehouse and procurement teams to ensure optimal stock levels. Monitor inventory turnover and reduce dead stock. Forecast demand based on sales trends and market conditions.
5. Reporting & Analysis: Analyze sales data and prepare reports for management review. Track competitor activities and market trends. Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance.
Key Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferredExperience: 8–12 years of experience in spare parts sales, preferably in automotive, construction, or industrial equipsectors. Minimum 3 years in a managerial or HOD role.
