Roles & Responsibilities – Billing Engineer

• Prepare RA Bills, Stage-wise Bills, and Final Bills

• Verify quantities as per BOQ, drawings, and contract terms

• Conduct joint measurements with client/PMC teams

• Prepare milestone-based billing schedules

• Track payments, retention amounts, advances, and variations

• Follow up with clients for payment collection

• Perform quantity take-off from civil, structural steel, PEB, cladding, and roofing drawings

• Maintain Measurement Book (MB) and site measurement records

• Identify extra items, deviations, and change orders

• Analyze contract clauses and prepare variation claims

• Support delay claims and EOT (Extension of Time) documentation

• Check and certify subcontractor and vendor bills

• Perform material reconciliation for steel, PEB, cladding, and civil work

• Monitor project cost, budget, and profitability

• Prepare monthly MIS, cost reports, and billing reports

• Maintain contracts, work orders, and commercial documentation

• Coordinate with site, planning, procurement, and accounts teams

• Ensure GST, TDS, invoice compliance, and audit support

• Use AutoCAD, MS Excel, SAP/ERP/Tally for billing and reporting activities

• Support project cash flow planning and commercial operations
