Job Title: QA–QC Manager (Quality Assurance & Quality Control Manager)

Job Summary

The QA–QC Manager is responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and applicable aerospace regulatory requirements. The role ensures product conformity, process compliance, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction throughout the manufacturing lifecycle, from incoming material to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Quality Management System (QMS)

· Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with AS9100 Rev D, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements.

· Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, DGCA, and other applicable aviation regulatory authorities.

· Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits; manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

· Maintain quality manuals, procedures, work instructions, and records.

Quality Assurance (QA)

· Define and enforce quality standards for aerospace components, assemblies, and systems.

· Review and approve First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR – AS9102).

· Ensure effective configuration management and document control.

· Lead risk management activities (control plans).

Quality Control (QC)

· Oversee inspection activities including incoming, in-process, and final inspection.

· Ensure proper use and calibration of inspection and measurement equipment.

· Monitor and analyse non-conformances; lead root cause analysis using 8D, 5-Why.

· Control non-conforming material and manage MRB (Material Review Board) activities.

Supplier & Customer Quality

· Evaluate, qualify, and monitor suppliers through audits and performance metrics.

· Drive supplier corrective actions and improvement plans.

· Act as primary quality interface with aerospace customers.

· Support customer audits, quality reviews, and issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement

· Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.

· Establish and track quality KPIs (PPM, FPY, COPQ, on-time delivery).

· Promote a culture of quality, safety, and compliance across the organization.

Leadership & Training

· Lead, mentor, and develop QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and technicians.

· Conduct quality awareness and compliance training for cross-functional teams.

· Support production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues

Qualifications & Experience

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, or related field.

Experience

· 5–10 years of experience in quality management within aerospace manufacturing.

· Proven experience with AS9100, (FAI), and aerospace customer requirements.

· Experience handling regulatory and customer audits.

Certifications (Preferred)

· AS9100 Lead Auditor

· CQE (Certified Quality Engineer)

Technical Skills

· Strong knowledge of aerospace manufacturing processes (machining, composites, assembly, special processes).

· Familiarity with GD&T, drawing interpretation, and inspection techniques.

· Experience with ERP and QMS software.

· Data analysis and reporting skills.
